Run Number 394 - 17th July 2010
HARE : I’M CUMMIN
We are back down south this week to follow I’m cummin’s run we are near Top Cats but no fishing for us, we are here for hashing.
About 27 of us set off running and walking and of course it is raining, last time I’m cummin set a run it rained, maybe we should get her to do it more often. Might not have the water shortages!!!
After about an hour everyone is back, well some got back earlier than others, some walkers appear way before they were supposed to. Meanwhile the hare is out there looking for them, they short cutted major style, naughty hashers.
Well the rain continues to fall and not just a little bit. So the GM decided there would be no circle but we could all have a freebie beer. There was not one word of complaint about this and no virgins that have to be initiated.
We already knew from the chit chat, well really from the lack of complaints from the runners that this was a good run. So the hash shit would not have been passed on this week anyway.
There was talk among some as to who was going to be the hash crash. There seemed to be a few contenders for this honour. Ah well there is always next week.
Other gossip around the boozers, we missed a birthday, one of our visitors was having one today but he ran off to a birthday dinner before anything could be done.
Tubbie twinkie was going to be in trouble, she forgot her ball and chain. Age is catching up with her, it is affecting her memory, try to remember next week Tubbie.
So we all hang around having our free beer and then some more not free beer, true hashers we are. We cannot have a circle in the rain but we do not mind having a beer. After a couple more beers the rain stopped so we decided it was time to go.
The majority of us set off to the Red Fox for our much deserved grub.
