Committee meeting 17 August 2010
Present: Blue lugs, Corkscrew, No 27, Bagpipes, Bogtrotter, Dipstick, Wibbly Wobbly, Red Mullet, WC Fields, Fag ash lil, SoS, No name bob, Strolling bones
Blue lugs has an article going into the Bangkok Post next week about the 400 run weekend and needed to clarify all the details.
Friday night run: Meet at Mercure Hotel, Maenam at 5pm. Leave Red Fox at 4pm. Finger food will be supplied by the hotel. Probably about 80 people, Red Mullet will let Gary Glitter know the number. Torch advisable.
Saturday run: Meet at RSGCC/Jungle Club road for start time of 4pm. Leaving Red Fox at 3pm.
Food at the Red Fox after the run. One large pig, chilli, salads, Thai food etc etc.
Bagpipes will email some photos of the hash to Peter Hill at the Bangkok Post.
Will try and get a rough number of how many people will need transport on both days. If needed Blue Lugs will order a local bus.
Some enquiries about doing one run and how much it will cost.
The weekend is 500 Baht, whether you do one or two runs, children same price.
Corkscrew has a list of the number of runs by each person, check with him or Bagpipes, if you are not sure how many runs you have done.
No name Bob suggested we do a beach BBQ on the Sunday following the run. A pay for what you eat.
It is a good idea but will be very difficult to judge how many might attend. Can be announced on the Saturday evening and see how many are interested. Will be very much an ad hoc basis.
Same applies to the drinks at the Red Fox on the Sunday. Blue lugs will also encourage people to come for Sunday dinner.
Anyone who cannot attend the events at the weekend will still get their T-shirts if they qualify for the runs or pay the money due by them.
